Rack & File CSM Team debuts in Oxfam 100km Walk

7/7/2011

Congratulations to our team who set themselves the task of not only navigating 100km of some of Victorias most difficult terrain but raising $7,129.00 in the process exceeding their target by $4,129.00

Having walked one of the 8 stages with the team, finishing just on nightfall, I can only imagine how tough the last 50km was with extreme weather conditions setting in for the night.

To have the fortitude and determination in these conditions to push on regardless and finish in the top 30% was a simply fantastic effort by all.

Andrew Tranquilli rejoins the team at Rack & File CSM

7/7/2011

Andrew left Rack & File CSM in 2007 and moved to Ballarat for family reasons and accepted a position with Selkirk Bricks firstly as an account manager and then moving into the role of Business Development Manager for the Selkirk Group. His wife Allison (nee Cook) had at the same time opened her sports management business specialising in womens international basketball. With a growing family and Allisons business taking off the Tranquillis decided recently to move back to Melbourne, which opened up the opportunity for us to get Andrew back on board:

Andrew started with Rack & File in 1993, the same year he was drafted by the Collingwood Football Club. He was able to combine both his work and football with great enthusiasm.
Having been formally trained as a draftsman Andrew moved into Sales Support and Design very quickly whilst at the same time showing enough on the football field to achieve his debut game late in 93. Unfortunately injury almost put an end to his 94 season but he returned in round 13 against the West Coast Eagles putting on a best afield display with 6 goals, cementing his place in the side for the rest of that season. Andrew had by then moved successfully into a full time sales role but while all this was going on Allisons international basketball career was also taking off, leading to the young couple having two extended overseas postings. At Rack & File CSM we believe that success depends on the commitment and participation of all staff and that quality results start with people; for this reason Andrews position was held over during this time and the outcomes speak for themselves with Andrew excelling in the role of Senior Project Consultant.

He returns on the 1st of August as Business Development Manager and can be contacted as follows:
